I just recently gave one of my N9's to my sister. Before I gave it to her, I did a full flash of PR 1.2 on it using the UK & Ireland variant (001) from an original 005 variant. Since the first day PR1.3 came out she says she got the OTA notification. For anyone who full flashed via Navifirm+Flasher from a different variant to 001, did your OTA PR1.3 update remained to 001 variant or reverted back to your phones' original variant?

I'd appreciate a quick response. So I could tell her to hold on with the OTA and let me do the full flash instead remotely via Teamviewer. Thanks!

I flashed from PR1.0 variant 340 (cv Denmark) to PR1.1 variant 001. Since then I only did OTAs and it stayed at 001, also now with the OTA to 1.3

Thank you for the quick response! You just helped me save time. It's a bit tricky to help my sister who has limited tech knowledge - especially when we're oceans apart.

Has anyone noticed that picture files are no longer opened using FileBox or myExplorer in PR1.3?

EDIT: Fixed after a full PR1.3 reflash :)

WARNING: The ability to open Picture files in any file manager app is lost when the N9 was previously connected to Nokia Suite (v3.5.21_BETA).

Filebox does open pictures with PR 1.3 on my 64GB model.

When you write from your N9 on m.facebook it would say "via phone".. Is it possible to make it "via MeeGo"?

No,

It says "via phone" as you are using the MOBILE website.

Using that website on an iPhone or Droid would give the same "via phone" message.

The only way to get a "via Nokia N9" message would be to use an app like the Native Facebook App, Sociality or fMobi

This just because i see that some apps ask for open mode or inception.
I am kinda avoiding inception..

IIRC it's a bug that has nothing to do with any of that, been a long standing one.

Use touch.facebook.com

I think it recognizes it as "Nokia"
Nokia N9 is achieved by app.
