funny thing was when i saw here that nyc store was calling people up to pick up their phones. i didnt wait for them to call me so i called instead and i lied and told them that i was on the list and i think somebody called me from their store. so she looked it up and said that yes i was on the list but they didnt call me yet. but the girl was so nice and said that since im on the list i can pick up my phone.

t-mobile web for 9.99? which offer is that with t-mobile?

log into your t-mobile acct, go to plan & services, and change services. then add the 'Unlimited Web for phones' for $10. (Make sure you select a dumbphone eg Sony Ericsson TM506)

i have the android data plan with 400 txt for $25. i might switch to the 10 plan if it works with the n900.

I hope you can get away with it. We discussed this back in Oct and T-Mobile has alerts in place to notify them if too much data is being used that doesn't correspond with what a phone using the $9.99 plan ought to be using. Plus the $9.99 has a 2GB cap per month.

I'm using this exact same plan on my current N73 .. Works fine :)

it will but its a little tricky. i have the motorola cliq and $10 plan doesn't work. and if u just switched from cliq to n900 the sim still recognizes that its a smartphone so it's saying tha i have to upgrade my data plan. what i did is i used my sim card on my motorola razr and used it for abt 10 mins. then put it back on the n900 and it worked!

so i guess ill stick with my $25 data plan on the safe side with the n900 if dell decides to ship it out.

well my husband is using n97 with $10 data plan for more than 2 mos. now and he uses the internet a lot and no problems at all. it's still fast. but mine is faster now cuz its 3g bwahahaha
