i agree. we do write in English when necessary (i am not a German native speaker anyway, all Germans will notice that on the spot). But since this is a delivery in germany thread, i don't think people will drive 10 hours to Germany to pick up when, especially when Germany has no N900 yet like many other luckier countries...

fear not, you loose nothing :)

Hartlauer in Austria (official Nokia retailer) does not have the N900 by now and really want 679€ ... do they think someone who is able to get it for about 500€ will buy there? (even if a week or 2 later)

679€ is hilarious, amazon will drop to 550€ after the first onrush, I guess.

Small Update:
Just called Nokia Germany. The nice person at the other end told me several things:
- they will start deliveries on friday +/- 2 days (I think this is not right, think they already started, see below why)
- they have not yet changed my Credit Card (anybody knows when they charge it? Is that a deadline for today?)
- he already had at least one sent out because he gave somebody a tracking number. It was an express-shipment
- he thinks that it should soon start with the rest if express deliveries have already started

DAMNDAMNDAMN Standard deliveries - only because it was grayed out when I preordered 3 months ago :( Going mad :( Plus it was not grayed out later. So all the people who ordered like weeks back may have express.

Rotkaeqpchen, where are you when we need you in our darkest hour? (actually that will be tomorrow if they have not shipped it by then) :D
