when I run the wget line I get the following error:

ok so everything went fine untill I tried to install Alarmed then I got this error: regarding dependencies

Ok finally got it working if I left out the apt-get -f install line of code...

is there a way I can my profile switching to only happen during the week so work days
mon-fri ?

Select "Weekly" then click on the "Days of Week" to select M-F

Also, is there anyway to completely delete configuration files? i uninstall alarmed but still the profiles switch and automatic connection script work too...

To delete all your old configs, do this:

How to run a job every 3 hours with the application ?

'MFE Sync' should be added to the build-in function, with AutoDisconnect, it's perfect! :)

I'm sorry but the bindings for pythong to the libalarm backend (written by Nokia) are crippled and don't offer this functionality. Actually, I'll file a bug right now, because I find this quite annoying. What is also missing from the bindings is the choice if the n900 should wake up for the event if turned off or not... -.-
edit: Actually, I just thought of a workaround but I'm really busy with other stuff so no chance of getting it done soon. Maybe within two weeks or so.

Something like that is planned for a future release. Might be a month until then though.
