do this

sudo gainroot

chown user /home/user/.pcsx

then "exit" e again /usr/games/pcsx

HLE bios it's included, you don't have to search for it, you just can charge one more putting the new bios on the /home/user/.pcsx/bios/ folder and to use it you have to edit the first line of PCSX.CONF in /home/user/.pcsx/ changing the HLE word with the NEWBIOS.BIN

"Developing" is too much said. I'm toying with the port only.
I might look at the crashing ARM recompiler and assembly insets if I find more free time.
But don't count on me doing any OpenGL work - it's outside of my interests.
