the ota has just popped up in the update manager in telford shropshire, downlaoding now! fingers crossed,
have had the phone since january, never had to re flash :-)

Flashed both the vanilla and combined stuff ... All running ok, just have to check if I can get to my ICQ contacts - it didnt work for me with the leaked stuff ...

BTW Im used to flash vanilla first, combined second - Ive been doing it this way since 1.1 ... Whats the supposed problem with that?

Flashed mine. Went fine. Just rebooting from installing my backup....... it has rebooted and is now downloading apps from my app list :)

"Flasing the eMMC resets the MyDocs folder contents to factory settings. N900 users don't need to reflash the eMMC of their device. If you are reading this it's probably because you got a pre-production device e.g. in the Maemo Summit. If you have a sales unit and you have problems with your eMMC you should contact Nokia Care.

Also note that any backups created in your MyDocs area will need to be copied off the device to be safe across an eMMC flash as the MyDocs area and other partitions on /dev/mmcblk0 will be erased.

Question though which is best to flash first the firmware or the emmc?
