The version downloaded after your post worked fine.

Thank you. Regards joh

Hi casca_uk

It should not be needed to flash your phone.
I added some depencies and I think it should be ok now.
The reasy wny it works for you now could either be that you already use the fixed version, or "PyQt4 Full Install" does not uninstall everything again. I think it is just a dummy package for several other packages.

Hi Caca3,

I flashed it earlier before you said, and it worked straight away anyway so the new depencies must have done the trick.

have been testing v1.6-37

Very good so far. overall battery usage is halved at around 5% over night. The only bug I can spot is that the Duration field is cut short when viewing the records since the Time field is very long.

Hi rexii23

Please have a look on 1.6-41.
The battery consumtion should be even more improved.
How ever, when I test it, the batter still drains approx. 20% per night.
Do you have 5% in total, or 5% less than with older versions?

About the duration field, can you show a screen shot?
Because on my phone it looks ok (at least in 1.6-41)

Tested 1.6-41 yesterday night.
My battery drain on old versions is ~10% over night (approximately 8hrs). On 39 and 41 battery drain is reduced to only 5% over night. I think it may be that I am undervolting with titan's kernel. Also I have checked detailed power usage via powertop. There may be processes that do not take CPU cycles but keeps the device from sleeping in the deepest C4 state. For example I have this process scim-panel-gtk that would keep the CPU in C3 state for approximately 25% of the time hence reducing battery. I have to reboot every time the process is loaded (its a chinese input process and i use it occassionally).

Attached is screenshot showing the duration field.

I will keep testing to get a more consistent result on battery life and also spot any other bugs. The improvements on battery is awesome!

Thats interesting, when ever I test it (every night :) ), I have a battery drain of approx. 20%. I change always to offline mode, so there is no traffic.
Last night it sadly crashed after 30 minutes, but my battery consumption was still 10% (offline, 9h).

I do not know yet why it crashes, but I experienced it before in one of the older versions. If somebody experiences the same, please let me know!
Usually python gives an error in the terminal, but I never could watch it crashing.

I also change the phone to offline mode, If I remember I also disable wifi via wifi-switcher. I'll keep on testing and let you know how it is!

Re: [ANNOUNCE]: SleepAnalyser

If you use the offline mode, it also switches off wifi.
I actually think it switches everything off (phone antena, wifi, bluetooth,..)

Re: [ANNOUNCE]: SleepAnalyser

Hi all

In version 1.6-43 I added a new export (as png file) function and basic statistics. Also I fixed some small bugs. (I am sure there are still many more)

Please also still test the version 1.6-28 in testing and vote for it, so I can move it into extras:
