hmm OK so now the ubuntu is bootable. I see splashscreen and then it tries to boot into user but shows me an error about permission. Gonan look into this.

No one waited for a how to I see :)

Permission errors are because the image was tarred as root, and should be unpacked as root, unfortunately, permissions don't stay the same, wait till I post instructions for a fix on that.
As for the mouse pointer, it is indeed fixed, the module is loaded from /opt and the stock one is unloaded, however, the module is compiled for omap1, which means it will load on the stock kernel and similar ones only.

If you're using a kernel based on kernel power, try backing up the module in /opt somewhere and then put the one here in /opt instead, http://mohammadag.xceleo.org/public/...les/tsc2005.ko

noob friendly instructions soon, might follow the NITDroid way of releasing rootfs's, through patches, major releases will be through whole rootfs-s :)

Ok, now it works! :D

What about "tar --preserve-permissions -xvjf file.bz" for the permissions error?

Oh never knew of that option, thanks :)
I'm out for +4h tomorrow, so I might silently update the rootfs

@MuhammadAG will there at some point in the near future be a workaround so you wont have to enable RnD mode? I would love to tribble boot maemo/NITdroid/ubuntu ;)
