@Bundyo: I have frequent crash on browser is probably due to low ram. My ram is around 26 or 27 MB / 217 MB. I have to reboot in order to reclaim ram. Internal memory is where one install apps. Where should I look to get rid of ram hogger? or any apps to help to decrease ram use? TIA,

bun

ES Task Manager has a killer that can be configured to kill everything that's not needed when you press a magic desktop button. :) I usually have around 100MB free. Not that I use the A81E with Android much lately :).

Another vaporware :( , http://www.crunchgear.com/2010/10/26...stomers-antsy/
so does elocity, 1st post, also vaporware.

Well, a81e certainly is not the best one, at least they are shipping. A warning lesson for those going for the bleeding edge. What is the deal with archos 70 or archos 43? Anyone got a hold of those yet?

Good call.
So my list is shortened by 1.
I wonder how that ANHUB 8" is?
Must I wait for Gingerbread and the Acer Android 10" to roll out?

I like to see more. I know there are 160, 133, 120. Can I use any number I want, or is there are some numbers more stable than others. With the 7 inch screen, I would prefer 100 or 105. How do people come up with these number?

TIA,

I too have the rebranded A81E from Nationite. The more I use it, the more I'd lve to see Maemo on it. More (useful) apps, and better use as a productivity tool with Maemo.

That makes two of us...

By the way, I'm running 1102, the betrolley one. I managed to get Navit working (well, I might add, 1+GB map & acceptable 3D performance & speech).

But I'm jonesing for Maemo. Android has little chance of getting a BlueMaemo port. And the Maemo browser, not to mention memory management or video support, is far superior to Android's options (even Dolphin browser).

The GPS is NOT bad, it tracks almost instantly upon seeing the sun. It does take some time when inside the house.

I just upgraded to 1208, not much difference, lots work for the upgrade though. I am using Mapdroyd, its like a primitive ovi map. Mind to leave a few instructions/links how to get Navit going? TIA,
