Code:
method call sender=:1.20 -> dest=org.maemo.Playback.Manager serial=1419 path=/org/maemo/Playback/Manager; interface=org.maemo.Playback.Manager; member=RequestState 1442 user 23452 S < /usr/bin/hildon-sv-notification-daemon Edit: a small test (killing that pid) made the ringtone stop, you'll need to stop the vibration yourself: Code:
dbus-send --print-reply --system --dest=com.nokia.mce /com/nokia/mce/request com.nokia.mce.request.req_vibrator_pattern_deactivate string:'PatternIncomingCall' |

Re: Slide 2 Answer
Just a wild guess about the muting: what happens if you (programmatically) switch to the silent profile (or as an add-on, a user-specified profile) for muting?
I think that's how other apps to that on Symbian, but I'm not sure if Maemo picks up the profile change immediately.. Note that if this should work, then it's up to the user whether he wants vibration or not, depending on the profile set-up. |

BTW, after the latest update, I now have a problem where in some calls, I cannot see the caller name/number. The upper half of the screen just blacks out. Anybody else can confirm this?
Also, if this is entered as an app in the Meego Coding Competition, and we see more development, I am sure that this has a big chance to win in the Systems and Utlities section.Nicolai? |
Re: Slide 2 Answer
sliding as new Symbian^3 does (like on the photo on top of this page) would be perfect for me, and you what do you think guys ?
the app is great and thanks for making this possible :) but maybe the design could be better ! |
Re: Slide 2 Answer
Symbian^3 has buttons (I think they assumed you can't press a button by mistake on a capacitive screen), that's Symbian^1.
