scratches???? will cost too much, baka palitan nila ung part ng n900 na may scratch.

......kung ung screen......mga $150 USD, kung ung housing.....mga $20-$50 USD (convert mo nlang)

Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

Guys, I have a question again.

Is it normal for the N900 not to recognize a ".", "?", "!" symbol?

I mean when typing a sentence, it never uppercases the next letter after those symbols

I checked the text settings and capitalizations are checked naman.

Unless i'm doing something wrong.

Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

You need to put a space after the punctuation for it to capitalize the next letter. :)

Changing the topic: Anyone knows if there's a Gaming Gripper for N900 available locally? Parang ang sarap kasi maglaro pag gamit yun. :D

I tried that already but it didn't work. But somehow removing the "Google Pinyin" app resolved the issue. Thanks anyway.

Mga kaibigan... Ask ko lang pano iedit ang default APN ng n900? yung unang saksak ko kasi using globe sim card eh naselect ko na APN is yung MyGlobe Stream. And now everytime I format the phone lagi nalang nagdedefault sa myglobe stream yung APN. Meron ba way para mareconfigure ko yun into INET?

riceboy 2010-11-11 18:16

Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

Text Go N900 to 2951 then just save the settings make sure you also save Globe INET too.

hindi, nagkaproblema talaga kanina sa kernel update ung 44 something... madaming nagreklamo tungkol dun kaya naglabas agad yung developer ng kernel na bago yung 45 something. naghahang talaga sa u-boot screen.. tapos hindi mo na magagamit yung cp mo.. good thing i search youtube and found this tutorial to reflash the kernel.. buti nalang may nakita ko, nagiisa lang sya and in arabic pa!

Re: Nokia N900 Owners from Philippines

info lang ang uboot ni matan is working sa old n900s.
Para malaman niyo just do
softupd --local -D
then
flasher --local -i
kung below 2202 ang hardware revision mo feel safe to use the matan uboot. Else use the generic one kasi maghhang yan.
Di ba makapal ang otterbox?

umiilaw ba ng white yung led indicator mo sa bottom left corner?? naka enhanced kernel naman ako (2.6.28.10power 45) hindi naman naghahang always set ako sa cpufreq ng 1150 / userspace if you still cant get to the n900 "desktop" try flashing it na lang with pc sana lang may backup para hindi masayang setup katamad na magayos pag fully customized mo na yan

hmm verify first if may power yun charger baka wala nalabas na current to charge the unit or meron ba amber na ilaw while nakasaksak/charging? isolate mo muna isa isa yun mga pwedeng issues then if wala na talaga eh baka last resort is to reflash na lang
