So anybody know where to find the changelog of whatsup since 1.1.4? The OpenRepos page does not list it anymore, apparently because (I checked) the .deb does not contain a useful changelog anymore due changes in packaging and/or release management.

Is there a list somewhere?

I tried WART got a password but I have only 12 lines in .config
so I m stuck

Just add the following lines in the beginning:

Username=919876543210
Password="lsxfkr8eIUgEZT2hrGpAr7jcErc="

replace them with your number and password.

So situation here:
- i had problem to connect to whatsapp like a lot of you guys
- i ask a new password using wart
- less that a week later, i'm experimenting the 'error connection' problem.

I don't know if I should request a code via wart again...

Try to dont update the whatsup client/version after you change password. Server may detect unnecessary updates/client modifications. This is just a supposition what i said now. Dont know whats the cause.

i didn't understand how to use custom bubble:
-how can i set to every contact a different bubble colour?
-how to set the main colour? (is the bubble nr1?)
already copied in phone and activated trigger from settings

So I started again WART, put my phone number, pressed "Request Code".
Got my password without any SMS.

Change old pass with newone in /home/user/.config/cepiperez/whatsup.conf

And it work again !

Thanks you MeeGom and tioubxancur. Unfortunately it doesn't work. When I request the code I get an error of old version. I guess this means no more Whatsup for me.

You can right click on request code button in WART and choose Voice. Lol, right?

Tried to register and get old version error with 1.1.7. Tried to get 1.1.8 from dropbox but the link comes up no good.

You should NOT register within the app itself!

You need to edit the file: /home/user/.config/cepiperez/whatsup.conf

Couldn't try the registration as I just upgraded the app with my account already registered. App is running fine with no disconnects and feels a tad faster.

Today out of nowhere, my account stopped working. It was fine yesterday.
so i had a chance to register again:p.
And it works perfectly

Well, I don't know why but mine sure feels it has sped up a little. I can say that because I don't get 'whatsup not responding' message after updating.

the app does freeze the phone (requiring reboot) when I try to delete coversations (large ones)

other than that - working pretty good

i corrected some translated texts before version 1.1.8 and i still not see it in the application. why?

Because cepi was in hurry to correct WA registration error and forget to update his ts file with newer from transifex?

i used WART for some reason. now Whatsup cannot connect and i tried to register again, but it denied me and told me that i did too much registration attempts so i must wait about ~400 minutes. what can i do...?

did you note down the password from WART?
you could put it in .config file to get it back working.
