i emailed him back stating i wasnt happy with the lack of "solid" infomation and that myself and others were sold this device thinking it would be available this week only to find out now that it isnt i did point out it wernt a dig at him but that there should be a better way of handling this situation

He did say Monday as well. We asked whether there was any chance of an afternoon pick up and he said no. However Nirav called somebody else in the store and they said maybe.

Remember it is open on Saturday and Sunday... so if they did come in today you can still go in and pick them up then.

The store is grossly over staffed, but sorting out 600 phones and all the contracts/preorders/etc has got to keep 2 or 3 people busy for a few shifts.

They don't do any deliveries on weekends but if they arrived today I would say that you would be able to pick them up on the weekend.

Picked up one of those flyers being passed around for the bluetooth headset too

see what annoys me more is the fact i work in retail (flooring) and deal with cusomers who book carpet etc to be fitted on a certain date. we have to order the product from our supplier and then they have to deliver to us in time to send it out to be fitted.

occasionaly someone will be out of stock of something we need but they have on the system at least a week in advance a date that it will be with them and they can usually send it out to us the same day so we get it the following morning

through the delay process we are kept up to date with latest infomation even if that means we chase our delivery daily if need be for latest infomation to pass onto our customers

it makes me wonder how the company i work for which consists of one shop owned by my dad can mange to keep on top of stock issues and inform customers as soon as we have any infomation yet nokia a mulitnational and multi million pound company with stores call centres factorys and warehouses all around the world cant even manage to keep a hand full of customers updates on at least a daily basis

i dont want miracles although one wouldnt go amiss right about now but what i do want is to be kept in the loop is that to muich to ask for i think not but nokia on the other hand clearly think it is

co sign every single word. This has been nothing but a shambles in my opinion, especially from a supposed high organisation. If I decide not to cancel my order then this is definitely my last Nokia phone

That was the reason I signed at the NFS because the intention was to just walk out the store with the phone. Three weeks fricking later and I'm still bleeding waiting. If I wasn't so damn cool I'd be punching walls right now lol
