I popped in about 4pm and they said it will be on monday.. maybe.

They were out in force today showing off the N900 but it was running 41-12 and was running like a bucket of bolts, nothing worked. Bit pointless showing it off with old firmware.

While i was there i took the time to teach the guys an gals how it worked cos most of em didnt have a clue but to be fair they were just hired help.

Glad i cancelled my order now, will wait till its on general release.

Yeah Jon confirmed via email that some people will have it tomorrow (those who have pre-ordered to buy simfree outright & paid ages ago) but the rest can pick up first thing Monday morning!

I have been playing with my N900 for only 15 mins and boy, this is the best gadget ever. I own ipod touch gen 1 & 2 and its such a toy and probably ebay bound now. Wow wow wow.

DAMMIT! I get the weekend to play with gadgets, the week is work (how sad an existence) getting it on a monday is just teasing! I won't be able to transfer all my sms messages (apparently they don't sync so I need to write a tool) and I need them during the week. grrr

Just hang on in there guys. Trust me, its worth the wait - truly groundbreaking in my view. The clock setting control is brill, truly whizzy. The video sample is incredible - the quality is a jaw dropper. I'll let you find out about the web browser.

The N810 will always be special but the N900 is at a whole new level. I wonder what the Maemo6 device will look like ?.

I just dont undertsand what the critics were on about, I just dont. This thing flogs Android, Pre and the iPhone - its like a mini computer. Truly ingenious this. Ingenious
