To aid the speedy development of apps for the Nokia N9 smartphone, Nokia has produced a limited number of developer phones, the Nokia N950 phone. This phone isn't available for purchase and can only be obtained through selected developer programs, such as Nokia Developer LaunchPad.

On the lack of keyboard, I suspect that the same technology that drives (connects) the speakers can be use to drive a full size keyboard.

Awaiting more specs.

That phone is ... amazing! Everything I want in a phone... But I am scared of Meego. Wish it were something that had a future. I know this is the last of an era. But if their hardware is going to look like this... I am in!

Nokia USA advertising N8 for $299 (w/$100 for trade-in phone), I suppose they are expecting a little dip in the N8 sales after the N9 announcement...

I must say this was not what I expected at all. This seems like a product more inclined to please the general iphone buying population than this community. Also, no physical keyboard kinda kills it right outta the gate.

i think the phone is like i have expeted it would be.. and i really love it... and now i just want to know more about the "technology" and specs, but whatever it will be, i wil lbuy it as soon as possible!

Wow, you guys were 100% correct a few weeks back (N9=consumer, N950=dev), I was skeptical ... no hard feelings?
