I'd be very surprised at Nokia releasing a "N810i" so soon after the original N810 - think of how many N810 owners would complain! The blog post you have linked to above seems to be more wishful thinking than based on reality or business common sense.

Seems as though one developer has been able to order the N810 today, using an activated discount code:

Unfortunately mine isn't still working :-(( Perhaps because i didn't select the Nokia-UK online shop (I guess thats the online shop that Jan Jansen used...)?? I hope others are more lucky!

Nope, it seems Jan just had a bit of luck; those Belgians must be pretty nice! :)

I just tried the Nokia Canada shop, and there doesn't even seem to be a place to enter the code. Mind you, they're still saying, "Order by Dec 19 for delivery by Dec 25", and charging 6% GST (tax); the GST went to 5% on January 1st.

Maybe next week. I'm pulling for the "enhanced N810i" theory.
