Did you read the thread Amazon, apparently they are delaying the delivering January/February 2010.

All i can now understand is that Nokia is as confused dealing with its own reseller then with the general public as far as explaining what is going on...

What do you guys think of this...

I currently have an E65 and an N810 and use them on Rogers because I have a pretty decent corporate plan. With Rogers possibly charging more for tethering after Dec 31st I am thinking I need to upgrade to the N900 to remove the need to tether. Don't want to give Rogers any more money.

I have one reservation however...
If the next N9XX has Rogers 3G I am going to be pissed.

While I currently use mostly wifi anyway, I would like 3G one day.

So far, I have never heard of anyone actually getting hassled or charged more for tethering. Some companies charge more for plans that include tethering, but it has been generally found that even non-tethering plans actually do allow tethering. It seems that the companies hide or disable tethering on phones that are sold with the cheaper plans, but of course the N900 is an "unlocked" phone.

But I'm not speaking from personal experience. I have never tethered myself, except this month when I tethered my N800 to my N900...

Somebody from Rogers told me that too they might start charging after dec. 31.

And if they go with the next N90XX just change you never know maybe Rogers will change frequency too so no need to change
