I'm not assuming anything. I'm saying you're either objective or you make a comparison. I've given you clear examples of what disturbs me.

You could simply say "the device becomes slow after xyz" instead of "the device becomes slow after xys unlike the other device that doesn't"

I didn't say I disagree with most of your points but just with the way you put them.

And if you never owned another device than a nokia, why the comparison with iPhone, a device you never had?

Why not hotlink the latest firmware for me, my friend? :) http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php "I have a problem locating my N900's IMEI."
So I may stop calling you ill willed.

Thanks!

Not sure what you want me to do. Even if I enter my IM number and send you the link it will still take you back to the page which requires you to enter the number.

That was your points that drew my interest, thus I responded, which you evaded. That's it.

So I'd be grateful if you'd bring up more points to discuss. Even when you could not make a point, your English is still worth reading.

But by any chance you still want to share your personal business, you can bring it to a place called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll, this is where people who care live.

Could I see for myself?

Please provide the link if you can.

Thanks

Re: N900 Issues: For Potential Buyers

you need to add that this device does not have CURRENT FLASH and a "full web experience".

Need to highlight that the flash on n900 is outdated and becoming 100% useless as sites upgrade.

So buyers of n900 at this time need to be aware that for the purposes of accessing the web, the n900 is NOT flash capable.

Unfortunately the flash in N900 is 100% backwards compatible and there's no not working flash thingy on the entire web:)

However I doubt he even has an N900 since he couldn't provide any link behind http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php
IMHO being unable to complete such a simple task clearly proves he might not even own the device himself, so I won't stop calling him a troll as I will call you since you obviously don't have the device if you make such a far fetched statement ;) )

Err the n900 has flash. Therefore, it is flash capable. It doesn't show you a blue box like the iphone. How many sites using flash have upgraded?

.... I lost access to sky fm, i.e.

http://www.sky.fm/play/uptemposmoothjazz

you hit a block page - FLASH 10 required - no sky fm for n900

As more sites migrate, you hit more of this behaviour.

And yes, i eventually found a "backdoor" to deal with this, but this is just an example of flash 9.4 on its way out.

To downplay this issue is just fanboyism, the n900 concept works on providing a great web experience so that gazillion of customised apps are NOT needed, but without flash 10 you are missing a basic foundation.

I have both N900 and 3GS

The N900 sucks..........................

totally and utterly........................

buy a 3gs , you WONT regret it...................

months of waiting for bug fixes and "features" really pissed me off

and when i say features i mean basic stuff like mms/exchange sync/doenst do bluetooth sync with BMW iDrive ie cant see phone numbers on iDrive

I could go on....
