Re: Multiboot 0.2.5 released
Ok, I'm now booted into power-kernel V39!! Here is what I did.
Boot maemo using power kernel. Update power kernel to V39 via appman. download this file to MyDocs open xterm Code:
sudo gainroot Code:
cd Kernel/boot Code:
cd /etc/multiboot.d Code:
ITEM_NAME="Maemo 2.6.28.10power37" to ITEM_NAME="Maemo 2.6.28.10power39" Please bear in mind that I am in work and get regularly interrupted by people calling. Although I have tried my best to ensure everything is spelled correctly, there may be a few typos so I recommend using tab to complete paths and file names. Edit, to quote titan: Quote:

Re: Multiboot 0.2.5 released
So, if we are using multiboot we can also install kernel-power-bootimg and get the bootmenu intergration... right?

V37 already has this so there is no point upgrading unless you are a developer. |
Re: Multiboot 0.2.5 released
Ok I figured it out. The kernel-power-bootimg package just adds the kernel into /boot. You don't have to download the .deb packages and get the kernel from there :)

Thank you very much for taking your time looking into my problem. The contents of my item file, located at /etc/multiboot.d/Maemo-2.6.28.10power37.item are: Code:
ITEM_NAME="Maemo 2.6.28.10power37" |
Re: Multiboot 0.2.5 released
in going through this nitdroid installation, a partitioning of memory is needed, is this correct?
