Hey @wook I've looked into the bootup circle briefly.

I've tried the pvrtextool windows gui and have seen the four circle pvr's but can't quite figure out how it works, yet.

Will poke some more when I got the time and try it with photoshop if the plugin works with the version I've got.

With F2thaK's theme v 7.4.. (Dual thing stays black unless changed to 2G/3G then it will look fine..)

Did some more poking on the boot up spinner.

Still no dice :(

I've used the pvrtextool to convert to 24 bit .bmp's. Then opened them in gimp and changed color to my liking and then recompressed the .bmp through pvrtextool to the right format, but it's like it's not there when overwritten the org file and rebooting?

e: the plugin didn't work with my version of photoshop.

so, you need to reflash?
or you have droid and can restore original files from it?
damn, i crashed photoshop with that plugin :S
i will try with old 32bit version maybe that will work...:S

Does the file involved have a hash in refhashlist? Maybe that's why your modded one is not working? Check it out...

No reflash needed, it's just like replacing any home screen icon or changing a spinner. The mask/background is just not thete when booting and it looks odd/unfinished.

It boots up normal and it's just a matter of changing back to the original, no biggie ;)
