Re: Let's talk Nokia stock. Really.
If they had announced the first WP8 device, it would have shown that they were ready to ship sooner than say Samsung with their Ativ device. But that's more than likely not the case.
If they were to ship a device on the day WP8 comes out with distribution with past and new cellular providers, then they might have an uplift since that means that their device will be competitive and in front of as many people as it can in showrooms and online since Nokia really doesn't have a strong distribution channel outside of Europe (online shopping is via Expansys or Amazon with the majority of the money going to them, not to Nokia). Then... and only then might the numbers change and the WP8 is well received - without the negativity that seems to be following Windows 8 - then perhaps then things will be fine for Nokia in terms of their stocks. That's not the case... we're looking at another slide perhaps. We'll see. |
Re: Let's talk Nokia stock. Really.
I think the stock will go up after announcment with about 10 percent. The weeks after slow grow but still growing. But then when iphone 5 day the nokia stock will go down a little and then Q3 report and that's is where it can go down a lot.
Nokia webmaster, sorry, Webcast: http://www.nokia.com/global/about-nokia/webcast/live/ Enjoy! |

The whole platform scenario was orchestrated to pave way for a controversial Windows Phone 7/7.5/8 switch. Everything about it is a willful lie. I am convinced beyond any reasonable doubt. Any other explanation would have Nokia milk Symbian^3 while readying Windows 7/8. Nokia isn't that stupid, to throw billions out the window. If I remember correctly, the quarter before Elop slayed Symbian, was the Quarter Nokia sold the most smart phones. Ever. They will likely never again sell that many smart phones. |
BBC Article
The BBC ran a piece on Nokia this morning.
Now we all know BBC shill for Microsoft and this was no different from usual. Apple v Samsung blah blah court case ooo they're all going to die horribly blah blah ooo Nokia and Microsoft team up to produce the new Lumia, Windows 8 blah blah ooo shiny oooo but .... (and then the cutting balancing commentary because we all know BBC has to be seen to be fair) is it too little too late? cue the music! Hmm, well who can tell? I was riveted right up to the point where I went back to sleep. rgds |
