Possible to include the ability to change highlight, scroll/progress bar and the message notification colors?

Re: [Announce / WIP] Theme Customizer - testers and votes needed

I don't know if it is possible but I'd suggest to create a package (or packages) for colour presets that could be used with any theme, instead of having different versions of the theme only to differentiate between colours. Now in colour presets I can only see current or default presets for a given theme.

I would also move Font colours to a new windows and put a selector for font colour preset (choose between installed ones) and a button to define custom, which would show the controls that are right now integrated in main screen.

You can pretty much do all that stuff at the moment.
You can save your own color presets and use them with any theme. Just play around with the colors, save the preset and then you can select the preset from "presets" list with any theme.

You can use color dialog to choose colors for fonts - just tap on the name of the font you want to change the color and a dialog will pop up.

I see no point on moving the font color selector into new window since it would be difficult to go into another window just to check the colors. Now you can see them on the main window and the color selector will pop-up in it's own window when font name is tapped.

Re: [Announce / WIP] Theme Customizer

This post explains how to change the speed of the popup menu in Hildon-Desktop.
I've tried setting it lower (75), and it does make the popups a lot faster, much more in line with the fast transitions setting of Theme Customizer. Perhaps something to include there?

Note that I also use the desaturate and Hildon accelleration patches, I am not sure how well it works without those.

Re: [Announce / WIP] Theme Customizer

Some more feature requests:

- Can the Transitions be tweaked from Theme Customizer? Or at least offer the possibility to choose between different ones apart from the included Fast Transitions.

- Customize Conversations: In the thread for customizing Conversations there is a lot of good stuff, could it be included as part of theme packages or even better packaged separately like Icon Packs? This way they could be chosen from Theme Customizer.

Regards

An option to choose which transitions.ini file to use, would be really nice!

Re: [Announce / WIP] Theme Customizer

since thps font patch found his way into the CSSU I wonder if you could add a way to customize it to your ThemeCustomizer.

it's a value set inside the transitions.ini
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=605

//EDIT:
it works when adding something like the line below to the [task_nav] section.
tile_font=Century Gothic 20

Hi thanks for your usefull app.

Please can you add the option to select images for the lockscreen background and the lockscreen icon?

Thanks for your great work.

Thanks for your great work.

Changing the lockscreen background is already possible. Changing the thumb icon would be trivial. Will consider it :)

Already started to write a "plugin" to Theme Customizer which would allow tune the transitions parameters.

Whoops, I included wrong transitions.ini (the one I use myself) which indeed has plenty of zoom. Will fix it :)

App menu font changing IS included with the latest version, but it requires latest community pr to be installed in order to work.

thanks for all the work, but i hate this "desaturate" N8-like effect in the latest update, how can i go back to the -blur effect- version? can you give a choice to the user to choose or no this "black&white" effect?

I really dislike it :-(

Great work, dude.
Really enjoy using this app. The only issue I have (surely, I'm not the only one) is how can we change menu font as well. You said "requires latest community pr to be installed in order to work" - can you be more specific what pr should be installed.
Thanx again for great app!

Cheers

Thanx, will give it a try. It is safe, right? I mean installing that SSU. Just don't wanna screw the device in the quest of changing the font in the menu.

It is still in development, you shouldn't install it if you don't know how to handle with unstable stuff.

:( I like it :P

Next update will have "more standard" transitions.ini bundled (blurless focus disabled, forcerotation disabled).

Heh, you can enable those by editing the file:
/opt/theme-customizer/transitions.ini
(end of the file)
And then run Theme Customizer again with reboot enabled to get those new settings activated ;-)

Later when I have time to finish my transitions.ini tuner, you can do all this inside Theme Customizer.

That's great. A simple GUI that is fast to use is just what I'd want.

/opt/theme-customizer/transitions.ini had the forcerotate =1 and X/Y = 1, the forcerotate was happening on my device after 12.1 update to the CSSU. Which I didn't like.

I changed the new CSSU transition options in /opt/theme-customizer/transitions.ini to 0, but after reboot via TC they still seem to be in effect.

Any ideas from you? I'm double checking everything but I found nothing out of place as of yet.

And after editing the file you had "use custom transitions" checked in Theme Customizer?

Check the contents of this file:
/etc/hildon/theme/transitions.ini

That's the one that's used (if it exists) by hildon-desktop.

I like the transitions when applying it with the Theme Customizer.

But when I go to the Menu, the background wont get Grayed out anymore :(
(I have the latest CSSU)

Which option do I have to change to get this grayed out?

I've never selected that option. I'm thinking I try after the edits, so they'll get written.

Because I didn't select your 'use custom transitions'. I understood that /etc/hildon/theme/ is always the current themes' folder.

Imma try that next.

/usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini should be the default that is used when /etc/hildon/theme/transitions.ini isn't specified. It has the settings I'd like as well.

Nono, it's very simple. If you didn't choose to use custom transitions then it doesn't matter what's in /opt/theme-customizer/transitions.ini

Just make sure that there's no transitions.ini under /etc/hildon/theme and then the system will use one located at /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini

But if the forcerotate still kicks in, then it must be bug with cssu.
