Any Cyber Monday deals on the 64 Black? I've been farting around on a Galaxy Nexus and it's left me cold. Looking for some Nokia love.

Don't know for others, but going to Simplyelectronics I see prices in euros (I'm French).

And here is the great deal I have just achieved :

Nokia N9 64GB (Black) Sim Free / Unlocked for €559.95 !!!

Compared to the same thing at £529.95 from same reseller and if I use a converter :

£529.95 = €620.4125 !!!

So I think I have made a good deal :-)

Not really. Not decided if I want it yet...
But I want to at least have the option to compare it to the 64GB black.
I like the fact that the texture's quite different.

Re: N9 16/64GB: worldwide availability & pricing

I've heard there will only be 64GB in Black or White, right?

I wish I could get a 64GB Cyan, but if that's the case, I have to get the 16GB Cyan or hold out for the 64GB White.

First post here, and I don't even have an N9 yet. :D
From what I gather, the cheapest countries to get the
N9 in the EC currently are Czech Republic and Poland.
Unfortunately I do not live in Europe.
Does anybody know of local online shops in these
countries that provide international shipping?

Thanks,

As usual Engadget was sloooooow with that story, it's ancient.
Anything maemo/meego/n9xx related often has a long lead time before it shows up.
If it ever does....

I was hoping for some more accurate dates since that story :(
If it's not order-able in Oz by Christmas I'll be very peeved.

For those of us in the US:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...bles-_-na-_-na

$599 shipped after you use the promo code shown. Not sure what states Newegg charges salex tax in, but not in mine (Texas).

jalyst 2011-12-01 22:08

Re: N9 16/64GB: worldwide availability & pricing

That's awesome news for Americans (Canadians too?).
That's actually better than the best price I've seen for Australia (local shipping inc).*
And it's officially available here & fairly well distributed via multiple means.

Admittedly I haven't searched heavily yet...
There probably will be cheaper options around, but not much cheaper.
Good to see Newegg putting downward pressure on Amazon finally.

*assuming you don't have to pay tax, not sure what some US states have to pay.
Prices on goods here always include a 10% tax.
It doesn't get charged later depending on which state you're in.

Re: N9 16/64GB: worldwide availability & pricing

Weird actually. The cyan is going for 600, that for 630 or 600 with code, and then the magenta is all the way up at 660.

Just ordered a N8 for myself on the Amazon deal. I'll be purchasing an N9 probably when the 64GB gets under 700US.

Newegg charges tax for Californians (like myself). Also, 6 bills for 16GB is NOT a good price. If it were 64, I'd buy as many as they'd let me.

N9 64GB is already under $700. Plus there is a coupon (search retailmenot) that puts it at 650!

Re: N9 16/64GB: worldwide availability & pricing

Wow nice, getting better, I might end-up ordering from Amazon at this rate.
If they ship outside NA, often items aren't shippable to Oz, sometimes the weirdest things are though.

Thanks,

I live in the Czech Republic. I can recommend these two stores:
http://www.czechcomputer.cz/fulltext...type=stockitem

http://www.alza.cz/search.htm?exps=Nokia%20N9

Both with very good history and claim services.

They demand to pay for the goods first. I do not see on their pages any information about the international shipping. The stores of Alza and Czechcomputers are just few minutes from my door. That's a shame you do not have the same possibilities. Maybe I should start to sell these devices to abroad:) I'm waiting for this white gem: http://www.czechcomputer.cz/product.jsp?artno=100370 But as there is written "Skladem: 0ks" means there are no pieces in stock.

I would love for you to buy it for me and send it to USA. Are these made in Finland ? I saw without VAT is about 712 USD. Is there a way you can buy these without paying VAT, am guessing since they show the prices !

I have been looking around for someone from the EU to buy it for me.

Re: N9 16/64GB: worldwide availability & pricing

You might want to check from them that it is Australian stock, and not imported from another country.
Price seems like it'd be Australian stock, but often online retailers here will import from Asia, & sell for cheaper.
Hence the warranty support will be based in another country...

It's just handy to know....

In case you have an issue & you mistakenly send it back to Australia, when you actually need to send it to another country!
Normally a clear indicator is that they'll have their own "special" 12th warranty...
But I'm not sure how they'd support you with that 12mth warranty, maybe they return to country of origin?
In fact I think some specialist importers do that, but in your case it might be best just to send direct to country of origin.

But this is all assuming they have imported, it may be Australian stock, in which case you return to Australia if there's a fault.
And if it's part of the retail warranty, they may help you with that, otherwise it's your responsibility to get it to Oz service centre.

Awesome. I'll call 2 ask about that warranty stuff. I think simplyelectronics is based in the US.... ? Idk, i'm a ways away from purchasing anyway. waiting for that price to dip below the $500 mark....

Just got off the phone with them, & they have a place based out of Boston, & if i had to send it in for warranty, that's where i would send it. They couldn't tell me where the stock was made though.
