Re: QStarDict
@sting04: yes. but be careful to enable extras/devel, you can have problems (eg.: few rootfs free ram because not optified sw, system crashs, and so on..). I had to disabled its. Personally I prefer waiting for official, stable repository.
;) ps; mine doesn't works too of course!! ;) :( |
Re: QStarDict
Just installed Qstardict (after P1.2 update). The configuration menu does not seem to work as it was mentioned before. Running from the terminal, and trying to turn on the "stardict" plugin brings the following message:
"The plugin '/opt/maemo/usr/lib/qstardict/plugins/libstardict.so' uses incompatible Qt library. Expected build key "armv6 linux host-g++ full-config", got "arm linux g++-4 full-config" Similar message for "web" plugin. I am not a developer but my guess is that the problem is in the different library for Qt 4.6 after PR1.2 update. |
Re: QStarDict
I tried to look at this problem for "fun". It seems to work fine in the emulator (scratchbox). I'm able to add and use a dictionnary normally.
Too bad I have no N900 at my disposals, I cannot make any further tests. Kiramela is probably right. The issue is likely related to Qt and not QStardict itself. Maybe it will fix itself in PR1.3... |
Re: QStarDict
It might be a good idea to resubmit the package to the autobuilder, just so it recompiles with the proper headers.

Re: QStarDict
I have resubmitted the package in extras-devel. It's named qstardict_0.13.2-3fb. Anyone can report if it works better or not.
On this page: http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...ct/0.13.2-3fb/ Even though the size is 0 kb and no dependencies are listed, the application starts apparently. |
Re: QStarDict
I just updated it today and it started working again!! One of my favorite applications! Thanks for fixing it. Great!!
