Now this is a nice surprise, I saw already videos on YouTube which are showing the whole application in action by running NFSU and Sims.

Though I really don't understand why Nokia isn't offering this gams by default for the N900 if they are running that good without any bigger modifications?

Keep up the good work, so far the progress is awesome :)

On another note, tested monopoly. It renders all the 3D fine and everything until you go to start and gives a:

I wasn't referring to what you stated. I was referring to once it hits Engadget we'll get about 8000 people saying "I corrupted my drive" cause they try and do things outside their means.

I tested Driver, i have graphical bug and accelerometer not work, and this in x-term: SDLGL: Sending lose focus event

Ok, new release 0.1.1 in extras-devel.

Changes are:
  • More PDL calls have been implement, as are some GLES1 extensions.
  • Accelerameter is now polled by default unless disabled (this should help games previously not reacting to accelerometer input)
  • You should be able to kill hung Preenv tasks/games by tapping on Power button -> Kill current task (like any other Maemo application).
  • Portrait games should work a bit better
  • Some issues with save files might have been fixed (by chdir()ing into the binary path)
  • And, most importantly, desktopgen can now remove icons from the menu (desktopgen -r path/to/appinfo.json). It won't remove icons created by Preenv 0.1, see this for removing those. I suggest you delete all of your icons manually right now and regenerate them with 0.1.1's desktopgen (though nothing wrong will happen if you don't, save for maybe duplicate icons).

Contributors: I've not merged yet all patches, but I wanted to make this release soon to try and control the desktopgen issue.
