currently the broadcom chip set Lan codes are not beign picked up here: http://www.coffer.com/mac_find/

So I'm finding it hard to work out the LANS.

I'll try and see if there a range for that chipset , any other max lan code examples would be greatful, thanks

Ok it seems here is the list:

http://standards.ieee.org/cgi-bin/ou...0Danmark%20A/S

This doesn't narrow down the N900 though

agreed. i was entirely underwhelmed by both the build-up to release and the finished product. in comparison the n900 has been electric (to those that know it exists, at least)

There's at least 15 N900 owners at the university I study at. I see someone using it at the library or at the restaurants on a daily basis.

Mind you, that's more often than I see iPhones. Then again, Finland is a bit special on that aspect anyway.

92.3% of the population in Brighton seem to be iPhone users, although I have been showing off the N900 at every opportunity. I've found that the best way to shut an iPhone user up is to demonstrate the multitasking by opening up 7 or 8 applications then showing them the dashboard with all 7 or 8 apps still running. Never fails! :D

I had a couple of i-phone brigade students where I work come up to me while is was using my n900. He asked me if he could take a look at my 'tablet', so i obliged. He was in ore when I showed him the multitasking and after showing him a avi video that i explained hadn't been converted, he asked me where he can get one from and trade in his. Another convert I think!
