Bumping this thread.
Is this project still active? I'm going to download it and check it out, and later go through the thread to see if anything happened.

Also, I'm not sure if this is a good place to start this discussion, but what browsers are currently recommendend? I know the dooble one can even play youtube videos, but I'm not sure if there are any other good alternatives.

I do know there are a bunch of browsers available, just not what should I expect from them.

i can see the icon in the menu now but it dose not do any thing

You gave already the answer yourself.
Install libqjson and reconfigure or reinstall other packages again.

And remember that this will break all the other applications using qt-components-hildon
