Huzzah! Just got my 'your package was shipped' e-mail having had no previous e-mail.
Although the link for tracking information takes me to a page that says 'cannot be found'
But I am now happy. just need to figure out what day to work from home to take delivery. am I being optimistic to think the express shipping I paid for will get it to me tomorrow?

I actually prefer CityLink. For some reason they always deliver at 7.30am, give or take 10mins. Other ones it's usually afternoons.

But if it's cross country, UPS have always been the most reliable. Whenever I order something from Bose, they use UPS. They ship from Belgium and I always get it next day.. Fair enough the distance aint that far, but I'm still impressed considering the likes of ParcelForce find it difficult doing local deliveries, nevermind international.

LOL - when I find out MPD finally ship my N900, I will OD on sleeping tablets and stay asleep until it's delivered, that way I won't have to actually wait, the time will fly by!

Oh, and if Nokia are sending them out in a random order, that disgusting! It's not hard to produce a list of pre-orders in date order! Thought it is more likely they'll just get out all express orders today, and that the email/status system is being updated in random order instead.

I don't think it's so much exclusivity, looking at the dates of other retailers. I think MPD just like blowing their trumpet - they do it a lot.

They usually leave the warehouse before 5.

tracking orders do work just that theres been no movement yet once they leave warehouse you'll start getting status updates stating it on nokia and track and trace on UPS will start working

There will be nothing to track at the minute, it will still be in UPS's warehouse...Once it leave you will see a change :D

MPD can only sell on networks Nokia tell them to sell on, hence why the Tmobile was suddenly pulled.

Nothing shipped yet, but not cancelled either and, as far as I can tell, they've taken the casherooni.

I also can't access my invoice or order detail for my re-order, perchance that means it's being processed/updated.

I bought mine yesterday, sim free. Hope to pick it up friday/sat from Regent St along with the free headphones.

The said they had 150 units available for friday and there was 25 left when i ordered. If you still want one this week from the store, sounds like you shouldnt hang about.

well I've got a tracking number, so I hope that means I'm out of the danger zone for nokia deciding to cancel anything. so I used 2 discount codes, and topcashback currently shows 99.80 pending.
as far as I'm concerned if I get the device in my hands for the 370 price paid to nokia. then it's all good. if I get the topcashback stuff too, well that's a christmas bonus. but I won't lose sleep if that fails to materialise

Well I've done it... Cancelled my play.com preorder and ordered from shop.nokia.co.uk. Fingers crossed that was the right thing to do.

mine left the warehouse at 4.25, my ups tracking number now takes me to a page, but UPS seem to want me to register to get any detailed tracking.

Tracking information just showed up on mine. Says its still in Rotterdam and its experienced an Exception that might affect shipping date, but doesn't give any further information.

Hope its not 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Anyone got any further information ?
