is it possible to change the color of the font in application manager? i want to use the lcars theme but the text shows up black , same as the background and you have to highlight each item to see it.

They switched to Cairo rendering to improve rendering speed for the application list in Diablo. While this does help with that quite a bit, it doesn't seem to follow the theme's text color correctly.

Probably a good opportunity to file a bug and submit a patch.

It's usually"osso-EmpSystemFont" that gets messed up by Thememaker. It's set to 11.75 when it should be 16.75 I believe.

That looks really nice, can you upload your custom theme? The icons would be better if you rounded off the edges. Too bad there is no way to make all the windows transparent rather then solid (or is there?)

its just konttoris nuvoclear 2 theme.... its in the garage.... the buttons.... yeah i wanted them rounded but couldnt get the shaped the right way to match the applets. just make a 64x37 white block in paintshop then change the canvas size to 64x64 and add whatever text you like

Well, Kontorri certainly gets about 99.9 percent of the credit for that theme. But I did design the applets (which isn't saying much, considering they're simply white squares with rounded off corners). Munky, those taskbar icons on the left really go well with NuvoClear2. If you want, you can zip them up and send them to me and I'll upload them to nuvoclear's garage page and give you proper credit. You also might want to include a readme or a link in the zip with instructions how to load them if you'd like to share the icons.

And to keep this thread full of new juicy screenshots, I'll give you all a sneak peek of my new theme called...wait, it doesn't even have a name yet (it's not nearly finished)...anyway, here they are. The one on top is actually an older version; I've since removed the curves on the taskbar.

Actually, i kinda like the curves on that theme. It gives it a slick, modern look if you ask me :D.

is it me or are the fonts "weird"?

specifically when a app is running the title area looks smaller and somewhat offset.

its not just you. I still need to make the title font both white and larger while the text in the input box is TOO big; its cutting off the bottom part of the box.
the theme still has a long way to go before its 'complete'.

heres my always present nuvoclear theme lol with the new version of fiferboy's launcher with background set to match opacity. also , thanks to underscore the icons that i made for this theme (task navigator , statusbar , and the launcher icons) will soon be all in a package together with a how to to install to go along with nuvoclear.

can anyone tell me what i would do to make an icon where only the text shows up? i made a blank 64x64 background in paintshop and added text only and saved....but once i transferred them to my tablet and loaded them up shows up like i had mad a white background with text on it. any ideas?

I think they just need to be .pngs with alpha; I've done that sort of stuff with the gimp, mainly...

Hey guys. If you are interested, I could add the icon support to theme maker.

I just yesterday made font support that allows you to select any .ttf font and use that on your theme. The release is not yet completely ready, but I'll release it on monday. If anyone wants to try it out before that, send me a mail. (urho . konttori @ gmail.com)

tso: munky wanted a version with more icon padding (I upped it to 64) so I threw it on my unreleased version 0.5-3 There is currently a problem with the background and animations that I am going to look into, then it should be ready for release.

In Chinook I was able to remove "Home" from my desktop by editing gtkrc and changeing style "osso-TitleFont" { font_name = "Nokia Sans 16.75"} to "osso-TitleFont" {font_name = "Nokia Sans 0"}...

For some reason this is not so easy to do with Diablo.
Can you remove "Home" from the desktop in your next release? :)

those are because I zoomed in on the picture and took a screenshot on my n800 to crop it. I guess I could have used the regular image viewer instead of quiver to avoid those...
