...it doesn't take off, does it? TMO's still a much warmer place, probably because Lubetroll & Davetroll Bros. are quite frequently taking their piss in our pool.

The noise annoys me, and I don't really consider it warming TMO. I have to sift through a 50% or more of irrelevant posts here, in order to see something interesting. People are just too involved here, so even any better proposal will make them visit both places. And that's also uncomfortable. But still, it's better to solve at some point.

What do you want to discuss more in detail?

Any plans of anyone working on XMPP clients for Mer. Communications framework in context of Jolla (Telepathy, Farstream and etc.). Audio/video conferencing and etc. Anyone working on open e-mail clients for Mer/Jolla etc. These kind of things are interesting to discuss.

Great topics and I happy to read anything related to that. My take on this is that is to early in the game for any real contribution at TMO. mailing list is better for now. But each of this would be a great thread when the time comes. Why not create one and see if anyone have ideas or working on it?

Why not push your question/ideas instead of sitting on them? :)

This is not unrealistic. €600 was what i paid for the N9. The Jolla device might well be more expensive because it's a smaller company and they'll probably sell less than Nokia did. I'm sure they'll find people who buy it even for €900.

mariusmssj: I don't view IRC and forum as mutually exclusive discussion mediums.

What planet/Country do you live on/in? They won't/Can't take 900 Euros for the device!! Stop it right now please ;)

EDIT: Who came up with that number?

If they want expensive they should go really expensive!

Finnish people here, please go to http://www.tosielamandiili.fi/ and give your vote for Jolla as the best startup at Slush 2012.

Winning startup gets free television ad campaign on MTV3.

EDIT: Actually, for non-finnish speakers: go to link above and scroll down to Jolla logo. Look underneath it for a button that says "Tykkää". Hit that. Thank you.
