He always copies in the comments from others debunking his hogwash in their entirety, so the true facts always get repeated at his expense.

He knows he has no answer to the actual points once debunked with evidence.

He always leaves the true facts unanswered resorting to childish tangental outpourings clearly demonstrating he doesn't actually believe the drivel he spouts.

Ok. Mr Ignoree, even Finnish people are telling you what happened (see above post) few pages back, and you still believe Tomi A delusional bulll. Symbian was dead and NOKIA knew they had to kill it. Elop did kill Meego and Maemo because the team couldnt deliver worthy software. They were too slow, dysfunctional, and unable to deliver. So he cut them loose. Every CEO would do that to a losing proposition. But what is there to talk to you about. You still dont understand the business of selling devices. You still confuse open and close. And you still hang around here. Just put me back on ignore. Oh wait, you live in Third World and you missed the revolution..........

If you had studied the actual documented chain of events (which has also been translated in english for your benefit) you would understand that this was largely a management problem, not problem with SW engineering or competence.

Nokia did what they had to do to in order to try to turn a large ship in that situation, but you have to agree that the execution of turning was not done very elegantly.
(or else the current march order of mobile phone companies would be something else :D)

He mentions a post earlier with no reference, links, evidence or facts which is immediately debunked with verifiable statements.

He responded dragging TomiA in tangentially and irrelevantly to the points of the comment as a statement with no evidence or facts and is therefore meaningless, a childish attempt to misdirect maybe? how stupid.

Adds childish insults that have no bearing on the comments and are not based on any intelligent consideration, especially since there are parts of the USA that rival the worst conditions of any third world country, not that I have ever visited one.

Nokia announced closure of Symbian after Elop joined, evidence presented previously.

Still banging the same drum and ignoring evidence to the contrary is classic sign of delusion and stupidity.

Whilst I might accept that discussions around the possibility of replacing Symbian in a large company like Nokia may well have happened over a longer period, the axe wielder was Elop, the ongoing failure of the future strategy is Elop, the burning memo that sunk Symbian was all Elop, the near instant crash in stock price, the worlds fastest crash ever seen by a world leading company, was all Elop.

Interesting, sad and unsurprising for Microsoft--and Lumiaman. As I skim the posts to catch up, I keep wondering to myself WHY people are still bothering to reply to him? He's clearly full of sh**, doesn't really post anything interesting or productive to the board, often makes personal attacks and flame-baits for attacks himself and continues to steer the posts evermore off-topic. After a while, it becomes boring or too exhausting to bother to even pretend to have an interest or caring anymore--much like all the fu**s we give for Windows Phones themselves. :P On rare occasion he has contributed something interesting, thoughtworthy or informative, but MAN that's rare--really rare.

I wouldn't doubt that you're right about him being a Microsoft shill, from the way he carries on, except for that hilarious fiasco where someone here from Nokia very nearly recruited him as an evangelist and then very, very carefully and briskly backed off from that after realizing he would do more harm than good to the brand. :)

But seriously, and this is true for ANYBODY (not just him): if you want to ignore him or get more people contributing to the topic, when you read his stuff and you know everybody else can see it's hilarious on its face, let it just stand on its own without a reply. Definitely don't reply to the flame-baiting stuff. It's getting tiring and this IS supposed to be the Nokia stocks thread, not a pissing contest.

Very informational piece from another genius on these boards. This board is truly delusional about Nokia. For the record damnramos, I use two iPhones in my day to day life. Kind of blows your theory on Microsoft and me. I actually find the history of Nokias transition as a fascinating story of the rise and fall of a company, and a case study that is interesting from industry perspective. It is also interesting to see how peoples ideas about this transition are colored by fanboyism and true misunderstanding of decision making that goes on to make the big changes that can either help or kill these dinosaurs. I assume that you believe that Symbian was god in 2011 and could still be the most viable alternative as Mr delusional Tomi A and his band of followers seem to think. I guess you also think Samsung wasn't already embarking in 2009 in abandoning Symbian and that Nokia themselves were desperately trying to find Symbian alternative as they saw their future disrupted by iOS and Android. but again, your fact filled post is another great contribution to this discussion.

You presented no evidence whatsoever for anything while I presented multiple evidence that within Nokia, everyone knew that Symbian was dead man walking. The battle between the Symbian loyalists and Meego enthusiasts within Nokia showed a dysfunctional and rudderless company. Moreover, Nokia never produced a functional OS that was as seamless as android or IOS. So both software engineering and management was dysfunctional. Moreover, all the major Symbian producers jumped ship early to Android as they weren't wedded to Symbian as Nokia was and saw the future. And why did Elop publicly announce Symbian demise. think about it genius. The board brought the outsider to do what? To do their dirty work, as they themselves knew Symbian was dead and wanted a new direction. When things are not good in a company you bring an outsider to shake it up. Nokia is by the way doing better than BB. Now tell me why are they doing better genius?
