It says I need to update my flash in order to watch shows. PR1.0 would play shows, but it was slow.

You can say that again for youtube megavideo and dalymotion!

They're unwatchable... what the hell has happened????

Local h.264 videos that were created with Handbrake using the preset on the wiki no longer play. Any thoughts on why?

timperi, since I seem to have a similar issue with my work WiFi, I would be interested if the problem persists for you if you try setting WiFi powermanagement to off.

I turned the powermanagement off, and since then the wifi has been working fine.

So the problem seems to be with the powermanagement.
I would like to note that before todays update the wifi was working flawlessly. (I don't know if the update turned on the powermanagement of the wifi automatically. I have a feeling i had it on before too.)

My WLAN router is Buffalo nfiniti WHR-G300N
Ver.1.60 (R1.49/B1.09)

I'm using PS3 media server http://ps3mediaserver.blogspot.com/ so that I can stream to my PS3 aswell.

MP3's work fine its only the videos.

Has anyone else experiencde the same of similar issue.

I had this problem streaming via DLNA/uP..Also studders/stalls if i had a network mounted drive. Local play was good.

corrected by going into the advanced options for my wlan and turning power save mode off. this fixed my problem.

hey could you try rebooting, and launching the video directly from the file manager and not the media player? i've found that it works, until some condition is fulfilled afterwhich you have to reboot again.

ugh.

i might just reflash back to 1.01

If anything, I'd say looking even better - but that could just be subjective.

Be cautious in reverting to past versions of Maemo 5 firmware. As I understand it, some updates include new firmware for the cellular chip in the N900. Nokia has warned that reverting to older firmware will not restore the older version of the cellular chip firmware -and- the older N900 firmware won't be able to talk to the newer cellular chip firmware. According to Nokia, you'll be left with a phone with no cellular capability.

The early testers of 51-1 were told not to flash back to previous firmware for this reason.

My Nokia BH-804 headset kept disconnecting on it's own within 30 minutes and not reconnecting afterwards. Headset shows disconnection but the phone thinks the connection is still on. This hasn't changed. This IS critical! Bluetooth is worthless!

Sorry to hear that. My 900 stayed BT paired with my Pioneer AVIC, for a recent 2.5hr road trip, all while streaming internet radio feed via FM Transmitter.

Server error, nothing new. So still no working google calendar sync. Or actually it created duplicates of every event in my phone. Yay!...

Are you trying to setup a "GMail" account via the "Exchange client"? If so, I don't think its designed that way...may have better luck setting it up via IMAP/POP3 client. As for "duplicate entries" in Google calendar, I'm not getting that in mine, even though the same events were sync'd to the 900 via an Outlook synch as well. Maybe you could "disable" one of the calendar views, if a duplicate is listed.

max. 24 hours if your just connected to 3G. (little surfing)

(all meantioned times have very little amount of phone calls)

I'm getting at least 18hrs with not only WiFi enabled, working full time from home, and connected to my personal router all day, but I also have (2) additional SIP clients connected. Try another battery? I bought a 2nd OEM for backup ($26 on amazon.com)...maybe yours is bad, or not conditioned properly?

I don't believe that Nokia is responsible for developing, nor distributing, software and updates for Adobe products.

No such luck for me. The video won't play, from file manager or media player. 9 still plays, as well as some podcasts that I had previously downloaded, and some trailers posted on this board. Just this one movie that I did last weekend with Handbrake won't play.
