First browse to the location of the file. If you put it in the default folder when connected to Mass Storage, it will be in /home/user/MyDocs So: cd /home/user/MyDocs/ mv SCPH1001.bin /home/user/ I am using SCPH1001.bin as an example. write the name of your bios file. And linux is case sensitive. |
Re: PSX4All Maemo Edition
or just use a file manager like GPE and copy paste the files

Yep: Games (2D shooters) that are playable on PSX4ALL are one frame per second slideshows on pcsx. Perhaps PCSX will get better with updates? Both would get a huge lift with GPU assist. Still, I am happy that Raiden 1 and 2 play ok on PSX4ALL. I was doubting at first, but I think with CD audio off, this emu could play Dead or Alive decently if the GPU could help out. |

Re: PSX4All Maemo Edition
Great Emulator...
I think now we need an Over-Clocking software... ;) But really,,, Smoku YOU R THE MAN!!! |

No not really. It is quite a bad idea. The CPU already gets really hot as it is..with over clocking you are just asking it to destroy itself. Plus the battery will be drained quicker. AND over clocking almost always reduces stability. |
Re: PSX4All Maemo Edition
Man i know, i was joking
Optimizing & Improving the emulator is the right way to go :) |
Re: PSX4All Maemo Edition
i think that psx4all is not as good as pcsx-m! even if it's a bit fast! i have many bugs with games! whynot try to make the files of psx4all work with pcsx-m or tweak a bit the configuration files! only if it's possible of course!

2. Copy the bios file to the mmc1 (memory card- pick any current directory) 3. In the GPE menu, locate the bios file you put in on the memory card and copy it. 4. Locate the mydocs directory (as defined in the thread) using GPE's directory interface and paste it there. The next time you run the emu, it should say the bios has been loaded and the emu will boot correctly. UPDATE: How do you control the frameskip options and what are the ratios? Example- 0/1 = no frame skip? 15/17 = 12% or 88% skip? |
