Re: [Announce] I am here - Request GPS position and more with SMS
Ok, just wanted to report my progress:)
Just know I have managed to implement mail client for gmail. I have created new account. Now there shouldn't be any problem any more with receiving e-mail on hotmails account and allowed bandwith will be probably higher. One more fix has been done also. As some of you reported e-mails with "-" in it where not accepted. Now I changed the verification schema, so it should be better. There are still some things I want to fix before new update. Edit: Just got finally fixed: activate networking without users knowledge. Edit: Didn't manage to finnish all the things I planned, I'll continue after few hours |

Re: [Announce] I am here - Request GPS position and more with SMS
That's the software I'm looking at! Great!
I read fast this thread (all 19 pages), but I didn't found a feature that could be usable... I like to have a possibility to put my N900 make sounds for locating its exact place. Usually the phone is just lost in my home or car, some where near... The sounds might have an option to be 1) polite, small beeps or 2) loud continuous, like thief alarm :D Or did I miss something, is it already implemented? |

Rachol - this is probably one of the most useful apps for the N900. Thanks for all of your hard work and thanks for the extra help that you gave me when I discovered the bug with the passwords. :)

Re: [Announce] I am here - Request GPS position and more with SMS
Is it bug or not?
If you take out your SIM-card, then turn phone on (phone starts sending emails - it's OK) and then put the same SIM-card, the program starts sending sms "SIM-card changed. New SIM-card IMSI.....". Is it better, probably, to store somewhere IMSI and check if it was changed? |
