Good app but too buggy how did this even end up in Ovi store?

Thanks developer but this app really is too raw, I suggest you to remove it from Ovi store put it in extras-devel and polish it unitl it becomes stable and then submit to Nokia again. You can even do two things at a time, release a free version then add new features and release non free version

Hi! You should also add "Resume from the last position" feature!
This will be for sure much appreciated!
Thanks!

No no resume for last position...that is annoying. Unless you're watching a video or something. Why resume when you can touch and forward where ever you want? I don't want to press and play a song only to realize i have to press again for every song in order to restart from the beginning...do you realize how annoying that is?

Found this stopped working when I installed enna. Removed enna and had to reinstall instinctive in order to get it working again.

The version update today seems to make it more stable (have not played much with it yet), and most importantly fics up cover art! HOORAY!! I spent endless hours, in vain, trying to get the damned native player to recognize album art! :)

Enna was actually the reason why Instinctive was crashing back to desktop when I selected a track. Having both installed maus cause conflicts with Pulseaudio or something.

Great Application!

Here are the two things I wish far..

1. Play songs when the phone is in silent mode - very important if you listen to Music in Office... :)

2. I am selecting a song and it starts playing. Now I go back to, let's say, list of Albums. That menu is always shown from top alphabetically, it doesn't remember the last position of browsing. If I select an album named 'Iruvar', play a song, go back to browsing other albums, I am starting from Album names starting with 'A'. Would be great to get this fixed as I have close to 200 albums.

A possible bug?

Instinctiv is currently portrait mode only. When I touch the top left corner, I can see other apps running and then may be go to desktop. But the status bar, which shows the time, cell phone signal strength etc, doesn't respond at all. If I want to put the phone in silent mode, I can't do it straightaway.

Hi Peter!

Very impressive app. Thanks a lot to the develop team.

I just found sth strange, if the name of artist is in chinese, then you can't find any songs in artist catalogy, although the songs exists in "all songs"

hope it will be fixed soon!

Thanks again!

We've spent a lot of time making sure unicode was thoroughly supported. We probably have an issue between our c layer and maemo's QT layer. Stay tuned for a fix :)

Haha. We anticipate that the maemo player will be free forever. But keep the feedback coming. We love the encouragement and the bug reports / feature requests help us make the app better and better.

I opened up Conky and saw that the hildon-thumbnail process was using a constant 15-20% CPU. I figured it was doing background processing of thumbnails for Instinctiv (for 2 hrs?) so I let it go while I charged overnight. This morning I woke up to a fully charged phone, but Conky was still showing the hildon-thumbnail process using 15-20% CPU. I rebooted, and it was still doing it. I un-installed Instinctiv and hildon-thumbnail stopped showing up as a top process in Conky. Any ideas?

Yuck :( Typically, when the initial scan and download processes settle down playback consumes significantly less power than the default player. Can you give us some details on the type of internet connection your phone has?

Yeah that's been a common request and it's not hard to implement so look for it soon :)
