Re: FUNDRAISER - roof on fire

@nokiabot, reinob has no access to community funds. I doubt there are any community funds to speak of anyway since the PayPal donations have been bouncing back (translate: have been rejected, see past 20 posts or so) for the past two months. To break it to you in simplest terms possible, reinob made a personal donation of €75.

Back to the topic - sadly, I am not in a position to donate that much but something like £10 to £20 per month is easily within my reach. Feel free to take this as my pledge. I would prefer to do it by standing order but can just as well set myself a reminder.

just to be sure u transferd the amount from the community fund to jeorge to compensate jeorges expenditure on bla bla previously:)

Please!
My name is J o e r g (or actually Jörg but I use a ASCII-friendly transliteration of the O-diaeresis as I do with all diacritic char / umlauts).
My name is NOT Jeorge or Jeorg.

And Reinob for sure hasn't transferred anything from any community fund, he transfers any donations from his own purse. Please read and think twice before you post sth here: a) did you really understand what others said, b) do you really have to say sth relevant on your own.
Like Reinob I usually find it very hard to almost impossible to make sense of your posts. I know you're no native English speaker and we don't demand clean British english here, but I think with a bit of effort you could produce contributions that are more pleasure to read and better serve to transport what you actually meant to contribute. ;-)

See http://hildonfoundation.org/supporters/ - alas aiui at least a considerable chunk of that is frozen on Paypal and not accessible, thanks to HiFo trying to safe some 2% for paypal money transfer and thus creating the paypal account for a NFP. Paypal demands proof of NFP state or they freeze the account.

Much appreciated! :-) I looked into my own account and found no way for standing orders. I guess you (or I) need a commercial account for that. Sorry for the inconvenience.

cheers

Joerg,

I would like to send a small amount regularly each month automagically rather than having to remember about it.

You could do this through Flattr (if Joerg also joins as a "creator"), but Flattr takes 10% of your donation, as opposed to 2% to 4% taken by PayPal.

Also, not sure what you mean by "automagically". Flattr only uses money that you have already sent on deposit: they don't (and can't) access your credit card or bank account the way that PayPal can.

I have one. It has a sliding keyboard and NOKIA printed in the top left corner.
