Thank you, with the nokia repos disabled, I can install software software via FAM again. I tried HAM a lot the last days, because I thought the dns of xy.nokia.com leads to the mirrors of the community. My fault :)

Hi There!

While the Nokia-Servers are going down for the N900 i was figuring out where or how can i flash my N900 with all this situation? :confused: Because, any link on the Maemo community is broken down. What i try to mean is: I can't use this guide: http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_tablet_firmware

And sorry about my ignorance if it's already posted, but i can't find the firmware to download and re-flash my fabolous N900 :(

If you can tell me: what plan do you have if we want to flash our phones from zero??

skeiron.org/tablets-dev is the exact replica of tablets-dev.nokia.com so get whatever you want from there. Its posted on the notice on every page of this forum :)

Thanks but I rather nobody does uploads as there is an official back-up of *everything* required at skeiron.org/tablets-dev or skeiron.org/repo among others.

One source helps to minimize issues people not too familiar with stuff may face such as data corruption etc...

Hi;
When I try to install an application through FAM the application seems to be downloaded but before it starts to get installed I get the following message:
"Failed to fetch packages- Your network connection might be down or your catelogs could be out of date"
I upupdate catalogs each time I run FAM but I always have the same problem.
Any ideas?

About hash sum mismatch: If repo is reprepro-managed, maybe something like `reprepro export <distname>' would be enough?

Nokia doesn't provide firmware anymore, at least two days ago, I found nothing anymore. I'd also provide my firmware, fiasco and combined images - is this legal?
For repositories, I'm happy again, used the mirrors and some of the official repos on my new flashed device :)
