Just went to bing.com and searched for DELL. The first link takes you to the Dell web site and you see a message that says you get 20% for that session

I just ordered from Dell via Bing too. I got the Dell order number but nothing from Bing. Am I to expect an email from Bing too confirming the 20% cashback?

Re: Dell has the N900 for as low as $442

looks like a good deal...
especially since the rebate is not guaranteed with the Nov-5 order.. since you will have both the order date of Nov -5 and ship/invoice date in your invoice..

hopefully the order wud come thru before jan 8.. since the rebate has to be mailed by then.. :D

bing last time took a day to send me the confirmation for cashback on dell.com

I navigated to Dell from bing but that was before I had opened the bing account (I know silly me).

Is there a way to have the purchase added to my bing casback account even though I registered for bing AFTER the purchase?

Any number I can call or email?

Re: Dell has the N900 for as low as $442

Just ordered another one 2, should be 450 after taxes w/ bing now i just gotta c who ships first amazon, or my first order with dell, it seems like todays order has a better shot and being shipped first than the first one considering the way things have been going

Re: Dell has the N900 for as low as $442

wouldnt that $100 instant discount would void the bing cashback? i know bing said that if theres any discount it would void the bing cashback. oh well we'll all find out if we qualify in 60 days.

can the people that received their n900s from dell (ordered on nov 5 or earlier) confirm if the invoice states the day they shipped out or the day they ordered? thanks.

I thought the same thing but bing states in conjunction with a coupon it wouldn't work. The Dell discount is exactly that a discount so my guess is that it would but thats just my guess.

Someone on this thread that recieved their n900 stated the invoice shows the date it was shipped and not the preorder date so we should still qualify for the 50 dollar gift card from nokia.

Thanks. Therefore our nov 5 orders may not qualify for the bing cashback since we used that coupon :X

man i just want them (amazon or dell) to ship it out already.

Re: Dell has the N900 for as low as $442

our nov 5th order wouldnt qualify also cause you have to purchase the phone through bing during the time that they are offering 20 percent cashback, you can't make a purchase than come back weeks later and apply the bing discount, well thats my understanding of it anyways.

Yes, I want my dam phone now im so sick of waiting.

No, i know we not going to get the 20% cashback. i think bing was 5% at that time. its still better than nothing (assuming we qualify for it). hah

Re: Dell has the N900 for as low as $442

The fine print on the rebate form stated:" For Nokia N97, Nokia N900, Nokia 5800
Navigation Edition, Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, or Nokia 5530 XpressMusic
(Games Edition), offer limited to maximum of one (1) Visa prepaid card per
household."

So, each home address can only get 1 rebate. I was planning to order the second one, but kinda held off by this.

i don't know who said that.. but in all of the dell invoices that i have seen they give both the order date and the invoice/ship date.. so rebate going thru is not 100% guaranteed.. :(

Dell shows $100 "instant savings" and no matter if I arrive through bing or separately, its shows my cart with $549 and when I go to checkout, it's back to $599. What am I not seeing?

Nothing. It seems they removed several instant discounts including for the n900 sometime this morning likely because of this Bing promotion.

Pretty sure my order status just changed from 3-5 day shipping to 5-7 day shipping. Strange...anyone else have this? Or was the 'free' shipping always 5-7 day shipping and I'm just seeing things as a result of all the turkey...

It should still say pending unless you ordered it over 60 days ago.

So you ordered from dell 60 days ago and bing is showing the cashback being rewarded?

My point was that YMMV on getting the cashback along with the dell coupon.

Well yeah I have to wait for the cashback to be rewarded but i don't think there will be a problem there.. I sure hope not..

The problem is they have 60 days to void that cashback. Coupons are your mileage may vary when it comes to Bing cashback since it's in their terms that coupon usage may void BCB. It'll work with some stores & won't with others & sometimes you don't find out till the end of that 60 days.

amazon orders are getting updates with preparing to ship...so is dell going to send out our phones soon or what..im going to call them again tomorrow.

so not only are there no phones going out from Dell still, they push the delivery window to 7 days. What's next? They going to substitute our orders for their own Dell smartphone as soon as one comes out?

Got a miss call and voice mail this morning, got really excited thinking they are informing me it shipped. Nope, guy on voicemail said phone won't come in till Dec 4th.

I just noticed after checking that order, that mine now doesn't say the words "Pre-Order" anymore on it. What's that all about? Just says "N900 Unlocked Smartphone".

Have you guys been charged yet, those who pre ordered and haven't gotten shipment yet

Re: Dell has the N900 for as low as $442

I just got off the phone with Dell...referenced my order and the one showing an order date of the 19th, and delivery of the 22nd. The service rep could totally see something wasn't right. She admitted that it looked strange that a pre-order still didn't ship, and one that was placed recently, shipped within 3 days.

She's got my phone number and email address, and said that she's going to dig in to this and call the department that handles this product to investigate further. She said she would send me email updates on what information she can gather in the next hour as to why newer orders are shipping, and older pre-order ones are unfairly sitting idle and still waiting.

Re: Dell has the N900 for as low as $442

I'm happy for whoever got that order shipped to them, but I'm extremely displeased with this whole thing. All of us who ordered on Nov.5th should have gotten ours shipped before.
