He will purply give you a better price and can tell you what they have in stock at the moment.

They are legit. I Purchased a couple from them.

Btw..I Get nothing from the referral accept another indirect poke at Nokia saying it won't be sold in USA.

I can verify that www.welectronics.com is legit as I just received my N9 from them this morning. Note that they do not appear to be a well oiled machine such as amazon or newegg. Keep reading for my experience.

At the time I placed my order they had made in Finland 16gb versions in stock. All of the 64's were made in China. Over the phone the guy said my cyan 16gb was intended for the Australian market but I got one from Switzerland instead. No biggie. It was made in Finland.

I requested and paid for two day shipping but they shipped it ground. Grrrr. They also misspelled my street name after I spelled it out for them over the phone.

During the time in transit, they dropped the price over $20 so I was a little pissed. I called them up and wanted the difference but all they offered was a partial refund of the shipping charges. I threatened to refuse the package and dispute the charge. They changed their tone and we compromised.

So... at the end of the day I got what I wanted, a brand new cyan N9 that was made in Finland at the best price I've seen. However, there was some hair pulling involved.

I bought mine (N9 16GB Black) at coolblue.be. They refer to pdashop.be. There's no need to register, you can order without having an account.

i have just found out that singapore some retail shops sell n9 64g for s$740, s$64p for 16g, not bad price three minths after n9 release on october last year, i need to wait longer until the end of this year

Thanks. Apparently they are abundant in China. I have a friend who is helping me out and helping me purchase one. The price is a bit on the steep side but still worth it. I am hoping I get it before Chinese New Year so I can play with it during the break!

^that's what they said to me about a week ago. The person I spoke to today didn't give a timeframe this time.

I'm working on getting one via proxy from Switzerland. A friend of mine is going there next week and I've seen a few Swiss retailers selling them so hopefully I can get one. If it works out, I'll see if I can get more for the TMOers.

THREE DAYS is all it took. i have my n9! black, 64GB, made in china, not branded as far as i can tell.

the box was not sealed at all, but the phone has not the tiniest mark on it {and believe me, i scrutinized like you wouldnt believe}.


EDIT: quick update; its the malaysian variant, 059J238. it was unbranded.

the phone is beautiful in a way that 650$ is not. i flashed it with an open kernel and pr1.1, and now i can actually do things as root.

i wish i could whole-heartedly say this is the place to get the n9 64gb in usa, but i have to say it with reservation because an open box is suspicious. there was absolutely no sign of use, and the two stickers on the top and the sticky plastic envelope where in place.
if i had to order another, i would still use welectronics.

all they have is the 16gb right? I have a preferred account with them and almost ordered it from them.

I ordered mine from amazon "Transformersandgsmphones" as his price was the cheapest and he had responded to all my emails within an hour or so

after a couple weeks the price dropped, but thankfully only aobut 20 bucks, otherwise I would have gotten a little more bummed out

Yeah or amazon for me.

I don't mind ordering from other sites though as long as they are legit. I have heard good things consistently about welectronics and would definitely buy a white from them. I'm just concerned about having to pay premium for the "unicorn"... wish it was closer to the 64gb black prices. Can't complain, it's hard enough as it is to obtain it. Hope some online retailer pulls through with it and fast!

I Dont think the price will drop for N9 64Gb.

I think what will happen is: The 16Gb variants will drop and soon discontinued (if not already happened).

Then they may continue with only black 64Gb until it does not sell and when that happens it will get discontinued instead of pricedrop.

Summary: If you want a black 64Gb go get it.

And btw. all those talk about the white one. My guess is it will only sell in very few countrys. My country not included. Here its all about ****ing Lumia now and Nokia sweden dont even want talk about the white one :mad:

^I agree. Seems like it's on the way out. Best to pick them up within the next month.

As for the white, I know of some people passing through Dubai next month who may be able to get me one but now I'm wondering if that will be too late.

Looks like it's welectronics.com or bust now for the white. If they don't get it next month like they say then I will just grab a 64gb black.
