Re: Support - invisible aptoide store and black screen on receiving call?

in addition to questions 3and 4 above, is anyone else having trouble with the store?

no icons, empty category tabs, and occasionally a yellow error message at top.

Is this a known bug?

Yes, it is:https://together.jolla.com/question/...ty-sensor-xa2/

Presumably referring to Aptoide Store rather than Jolla Store in all instances? Even though ticking on screen with Android Support to install Aptoide Store during setup, it quite often fails and has to be installed from Jolla Store.

the aptoide store issue resolved itself after reinstalling the store.

Settings -> Apps -> Camera, and Bob's your uncle.

Yes, you can thank the creeping dissociation of app settings from the app that actually uses them. I mean, you are already in Camera when you want to change the picture size, right? Or in Browser when you want to clear the history. But no, you have to open another application to do such a basic task. When will this truly, truly awful monkeying after Apple finally end?

I don't have my Sailfish device with me to check, but I have used many different operating systems in the past, and I believe Sailfish would be the first where picture resolutions couldn't be changed through the camera app (if they could be changed). Sounds less like Sailfish monkeying after Apple and more like Sailfish dropping the ball.

Re: Support - six questions about 3.0.1.14 on an XA2 Plus - here wego maps - can't navigate

6. Here WeGo maps works great, right up until navigation.
Loads up, displays maps, knows where i am, can find a location, and plot a route...
But as soon as i hit navigate it thinks about, then errors out.
Ideas?

I was referring more to the general "settings-belong-in-the-Settings-app" trend. A picture resolution is just one application of that trend.

What you say makes it even worse. Following a bad trend is one thing, but making a bad change just for the sake of change is much, much worse. Some changes are good. This is not one of them.
