Re: Why so many N950s missing rear covers?
Ha ha. So is there a statute of limitations for how long you can not sell? Can you give one away? What if you sold it for 5 cents? So you sell the phone without the back plate and include the back plate for free?
EDIT: In Maryland statute of limitations is 12 years for sealed contract and 3 years for unsealed. Did the folks that originally got the N950 sign a sealed contract or not. If not, maybe ok to sell. At least in Maryland! Someone familiar with Finnish or international law in regards to contracts? |
Re: Why so many N950s missing rear covers?
IIRC I did sign contract to receive the N950, it is a loan and we have to pay 500€ to Nokia if we fail to delivery it back upon Nokia request :p

Re: Why so many N950s missing rear covers?
It is worth investigating the statute of limitations on the contract signed and the enforceability of the pay on demand clause.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statute_of_limitations https://e-justice.europa.eu/content_...mits-279-en.do My opinion form reading the above is that a certain point the Nokia N950 recipients are no longer bound by those contracts and the devices become abandoned property in your hands so you can do with them as you please. Of course this is an uninformed personal opinion not any kind of legal advice. What was the date of the dev contracts to get a 'free' N950? |
