the best todo-list is MLO, so please lend ideas from it =)

tasks, subtasks, tagged tasks, priority, etc.

Some sort of ability to synchronize with Evolution data server on Ubuntu or Tomboy would be great. :)

All of the above, especially with alarms. Also the ability to link tasks with contacts and calender events.

KISS Keep it Simple, I used to use the tasks in Windows Mobile on my PDA, but it was always a pain that it had too many options to check that it wasn't worth it. Keep all the options on one page, and have good defaults.
