Are you folks para-sailing or skydiving with your tablets?
I've only ever used the included slip case and traveled all over the planet with my N800 with no problems. It's even survived a few sandstorms with no problems.

I also use just the included pouch. The only issue I have with it is that if you turn it the wrong way the N800 will slip out (this has apparently been fixed for the N810 pouch). But I've learned to instinctivly avoid that. The pouch+N800 lives happily inside the inside pocket of my jacket. And I too bring it all over the world (no sandstorms yet though..)
