According to this site (Worldtimezone.com) It is about 2:25 AM right now in Recife, Brazil. Does this mean Canola is being delayed or I just got the dates wrong? The beta site still says 1 day left.

From what i read on the Marcelo's blog...it will be released sometime at night in Brazil. It's still early morning there.

Ahh, I just looked at the post date of that blog post. That makes more sense. I guess I did have the release date off. Thanks! Can't wait for the new Canola, it looks great.

The Beta2 website says: today 10pm "Brazilian time".
:/

That means tomorrow (after midnight) for me in Italy...
And means tomorrow for a whole lot of other people.

Do we know which time zone in Brazil as when I did a search it seems to vary by about 3 hours across the country.

I usually go to sleep somewhere around midnight, so if I would be sure that the guys are on time, I would wait another hour... but maybe since I also usually wake up at 6 in the morning (yeah, I cannot sleep that much in this phase... although I have nothing to do!) I will just check tomorrow morning!

Can't wait to test a 4GB sd that just arrived on my desk and that I'll fullfill with MP3s and images (still waiting for the 8GB from ebay grrrr :mad: )

Looking at the screenshots and video's to me the question is. How much of Hildon will this be able to render "moot". With Canola providing the gui it really does change things IMHO. But maybe I'm wrong about that too.
