The difference compared to OS2007 is that broken sites/applications now can drain your battery @400MHz rather than 330MHz. _But_ if you manage to get rid of those, you'll actually see an increased battery life.

Hi Igor,

How can I see if I have broken applications which could drain my battery when I am in offline modus (so no drain of sites I assume) ?

That is not exact: if you have a browser page open with a flash AD you will still waste energy.

In general you can check the processor load and the activity of each thread (with top for example)

To play it safe you can add only 1 extra app and then wait for a few days during which you try to use the device normally. If you encounter some unexplainable (meaning that you cannot correlate it to some extra ordinary activity) battery drop, you can double check and then contact the author of the application explaining your problem (and CC also maemo.org).
