Has anyone noticed that repo's for OS2008 do not generaly include the distribution?

WindowsMe Server Edition. Yea, that sounds about right.

I still can't install Python 2.5 runtime. I have tried several times over the last few days but always get: "Installation file corrupted."

I assumed this was a Maemo overload problem, but maybe it is something else.

Any suggestions?

There are multiple files unavailable from the repository that are part of the python runtime install. I'm not sure if it is a permissions problem or not, but I was able to install runtime a couple nights ago prior to toasting 2008 on my N800.

I inadvertently cleared the device while it was in my holster, never pocket the device while in control panel.

Now I can't get it installed again either.

Yup I did the same and lost C2 but thanks to our search button and member wolf08 I found this...

In package manager, it is:

Name: Chatonka Canola Repo (TEMPORARY)
Web address: http://blog.chatonka.com/Canola
Distribution: chinook
Components: testing

and I at least am back to square 1. I'll wait out Python 2.5 maybe it will be out of beta soon anyway. :)

Care to explain how to check this fully? I've searched to no avail. Thanks in advance.
