Re: Re-styled Google Reader for 800x480 screens
I won't be able to test this until later today since my device isn't with me, but I've made the needed updates to my IT. (Having SSH access rocks. :) )
I needed to create the chrome folder in the /home/user/.mozilla/microb/ and then create the new file, userContent.css I created both as root however, so I'm guessing that the permissions should be changed in order for this to work. chown user chrome; chgrp users chrome cd chrome chown user userContent.css; chgrp users userContent.css |
Re: Re-styled Google Reader for 800x480 screens
I'm personally a fan of the Google Reader Minimalistic Greasemonkey script. Though I'm jealous of those Previous and Next item finger sized buttons : P.
http://i29.tinypic.com/zlypgk.jpg I think what we really need now is a Gmail script that optimizes the screen space for the internet tablets. |
Re: Re-styled Google Reader for 800x480 screens
I'm having the same problem as has been mentioned; I had to create the chrome/ folder and put userContent.css in it, and it didn't do anything. I tried the chown and chgrp commands as was also mentioned, to no avail. Has anybody figured out the issue with the lack of a chrome/ folder and the modification not working?

Re: Re-styled Google Reader for 800x480 screens
Thanks for the css. It worked fine for me. I used ssh to log into the tablet, and then "su user" to switch to the "user" account. I made the chrome directory and then used vi to paste in the .css file. Started up microb and the change was there.
Thanks again, -Jonathan |
