You seem to be saying that what Navi said was a reasonable conclusion, but he shouldn't have said it without thinking?

How do you know what/how much he thought before posting?

Obviously, we all misunderstood your first post to Navi. You completely agreed with the suggestion that no one would buy a like new unit over a new unit to save four bucks; you just wished you'd been able to detect a little more activity on your long-range EEG immediately before he posted. Our responses were based on our foolish presumption that when you replied to a comparison of your prices and new prices with the notion that "It doesn't matter if it's unopened or not," you were implying that there needn't or shouldn't be a price difference.

Oh, and one quick question: What in the world does "The warranty is from the product" mean? The product will pay for any repairs it needs?

Perhaps you meant to say there is no warranty to the buyer, since as Gemniii pointed out, the warranty is to the original purchaser and may not be transferred.

And a big reason why the price drops more than $4 when you drive a NIT off the lot.

oh oh, now I'm going to get a lesson in business practices and profit strategies.

On Monday, a couple lightly used N800's sold for $158 and $168 on e-Bay. (I know because I bought one.)

A couple weeks ago, I would have thought $185 was less than you could get on e-Bay. Now I guess I'd have to agree that it's a little high.

Good luck selling it.

Roger

Hmmmm.... Driving a tablet off a lot. And taking it straight to da rimhaas to get custom spinnin' wheels like qwerty12's... Curious imagery surrounds the tablets these days.

Ohsh—Nokia is shipping self-aware, independently wealthy, and rationally self-interested tablets?!

/me runs for the hills.

I may have misstated. Everyone thinks before they say it's just that there should be more analyzing.

Yes, I agreed to Navi that a like new unit is not as good as a NIB unit. What do you mean by

, meaning what is EEG ?

I don't think any of you had a foolish presumption. Yes, I meant that there shouldn't be a price difference between like-new and NIB items if their condition, functionality, and warranty are the same.
After thinking about it from all your inferences I figured I was wrong about my original statemen.

What I was trying to say about the warranty is that it should be intact since I didn't register by Nokia. The warranty is supplied by Nokia and is for whoever owns the product and registers it. Or am I wrong? Please correct me.

As on eBay, products sold such as an iTouch still have a 1 year warranty that is issued by Apple. For one instance, I bought one and the warranty was intact until November 2008 and I was able to send it to Apple for repair.

I agree that my price, $200, was high, I just needed money for a new toy.
Sorry for all the confusion.

Yea, that's what I saw! Weird, it's because of the N810 WME. The introduction of this product will certainly decrease the price of the N8X0 Tablets.

Electroencephalograph
Which is contact-range, of course, so not really applicable, but I was just making a cheap crack, so I didn't bother looking up what the non-contact equivalents are called.
