I couldn't find it on the maemo.org site nor elsewhere. Maybe Nokia will release a program like that soon. On my MAC OS X dashboard I have a widget that is a unit converter.

First comment...search more closely.

Secondly...I've ported the "gonvert" package to the NIT (really, just writing an installation script, which should be replaced with a real ".deb" installation package through pypackager).

Third, I've ported a currency convertor to the Maemo package. That should have been pretty easy to find here, on directly from the Maemo garage site for gcur.

Am posting the latest version of gonvert (non-hildonized .deb) if you need to use it. I use it on my N800.
