Can the scan for the artwork be disabled? Or only done once and not have to do again?

I thought it was alrteady the case. What's more, It can fetch the cover art from the file tag (this is how I have set up things here).

Thanks for trashing my faviorite player :(. Any recommendation? I want an equalizer is a prerequisit.

And I also want to learn something about XMMS too, why it is so 'horrid'?
